It was less effective on shag carpets, as it struggled to get at dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It was able navigate the legs of a chair, tiny spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice it was a little slower on floors with no flooring, but it regained speed and performed better than other robots we tested.

The IQ is a more suitable choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life, and is better at navigating obstacles. It also has mopping attachments that can handle sticky messes. On the other side, the iRobot is built better and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance, and can create virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It can even resume cleaning from where it left off if it is unable to recharge its battery prior to having completed the task. The iRobot can be controlled by voice, which is a major benefit for many users.

If it encounters them it halts and emits a loud sound so you can manually steer it through the obstacle before getting back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is another great feature of the Eufy11S.
