Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has pulled out of the planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot. The company claimed that the deal had to overcome "undue regulatory hurdles." Amazon will pay iRobot an amount for breakup of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed to be anti-competitive by European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and the top antitrust enforcer).
