If you are looking for a basic robot vacuum without the smart features of other models, this is a great option. It is capable of picking up pet hair, kitty litter, and Cheerios on hardwood floors and even sucked up sand in my tests.

It's quick and precise in mapping rooms, and it avoids obstacles well. It can also be controlled manually by using the remote included.

1. Roomba from iRobot

The s9+ is the best robot vacuum we've tested cleaning both hard floors and carpeting. It has the strongest suction of any robotic cleaner available and is excellent at eliminating pet hair. It can be programmed to perform multiple passes or adjust suction levels depending on the size of the room, which is a feature which we haven't encountered in other models. The app lets you modify the way it operates, and even select the time when it will begin working, so that you can be present in the room when it whirls away.

The smart mapping feature generates a precise map of your house to assist the s9+ to navigate and create efficient routes. It's also self-emptying, so it does not require any intervention on your part while cleaning and it can return to its original location and recharge in mid-clean (though it's possible to hear it rumble back to its dock when it settles in it, which can sound like the sound of a jet engine taking off). It mopped the floor using a gentle touch and left my floors feeling and looking like they'd been properly cleaned.

The J7+ recharges itself once it has finished mopping. It then returns to the point where it left off and continues cleaning. It typically runs for about 85 minutes, give or take in my house, before returning to the dock for a recharge. It's not as impressive as the s9+, but still impressive for a device that can mop and vacuum.

It's not easy to maintain and has some issues with navigation. It's not equipped with a companion app and voice control, however it does come with a simple remote. It doesn't inform you when the bin is full. You'll need to check it regularly.

The eufy is superior to the Bobsweep Bob Pro in many ways however, it's not as good as the irobot black friday Roomba 694 in many other ways. The iRobot is more durable, has less parts that require regular maintenance, comes with a HEPA filter and is longer lasting on a single charge, and provides better cleaning performance on floors that are bare and low- and high-pile carpet. It also comes with a more advanced navigation system that can steer around obstacles, and more advanced automation features like boundary stripes.

The iRobot Roomba 900 Series is the better choice for most users, even although the eufy is a good option. The iRobot is more durable, easier to maintain, has a larger dustbin, and offers better performance on all surfaces types. It's also faster to recharge and offers longer battery life.

The eufy can be superior to the ILIFE A4s, but it's not as efficient as a high-end robot like the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. The iRobot has a higher-quality build and a bigger dust bin, and incurs fewer recurring expenses. It also has a smarter navigation algorithm that can navigate around obstacles and has more advanced automation capabilities, like boundary strips. The iRobot is also more efficient at sucking up pet hair, and easier to maintain than eufy.
