The system uses dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to that used in best self vacuum for pet hair-driving vehicles. It can scan up to 32 feet across by 360 degrees. The main flaw of the T10 Omni is that it cannot switch from mopping and vacuuming in a single operation. The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off depending on your requirements. This is fine for most households, but not for people who have a busy schedule.

The Deebot T10 is a great robot vacuum that gives impressive results. It removed more than 96% debris from our hardwood flooring. This is an excellent performance. It did a great job on carpets and tiles, removing 99% of dirt.

However, flip it over there's a motorised floor brush plus one side sweeper brush that carries dirt from the edges into the main path of the robot's 'mouth'. It's a little smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9, which I found to be easier to fit under chairs and sofas.

Its mapping system is reasonably sophisticated and allows you to set no-mop zones as well as specific cleaning zones. However it is prone to get into things (including its own charging dock) and isn't always adept at climbing over rug. It did a great job of picking up pet hair from floors that were bare However, during our tests, it picked up 89.5 percent of litter - a figure that puts it ahead of all but the most powerful robots we've tested.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular new brand is the cheapest we've ever tested and offers exceptional value for the money. Its basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm, and it's not able to map rooms. This makes it less efficient than other models in this list. It's still able get under furniture and into corners. Mopping mode was very effective in our tests and picked up hairs that were straying and other debris.

Shark's iQ isn't as sturdy as the Roomba S9, but it does a better job overall in getting rid of pet hair on all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as floor surfaces that are bare. It also uses smart-pathing navigational software for greater maneuverability.
