The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best sweep and mop robot vacuum-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum cleaner with mop mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating.
