Best combo irobot Vacuums

This entry-level iRobot is an excellent choice for those who wish to stay clear of the cost of a more expensive model. It has impressive navigation and obstacles-avoidance technologies and also offers apps and voice control along with scheduled cleanings.

Its vacuuming performance was top notch, picking up 55% of debris in our tests. Its mopping was a success in eliminating dried milk staining.

1. Roomba S9+

After a month of testing robot vacuums, I think the Roomba s9+ is the best choice for homes with a lot of space. Its unique D-shape design allows it to get closer to corners and walls for an easier clean and its powerful motor is more capable of cleaning up kitty hair and litter than any other robot I've tested. The s9+ also includes advanced features like Dirt Detect and the capability to select the time it cleans using the iRobot Home app.

The j7+ when fitted with a mopping attachment, will automatically change between sweeping and mopping to ensure that your floors are completely cleaned. It features a powerful three-stage cleaning system with high-powered suction, edge-sweeping brushes that can maneuver around furniture and tight corners, as well as dual multi-surface rubber brushes that perform well on different floor types. The J7+ also does a solid job of getting pet hair and other debris from bare floors and low-pile carpets.

The j7+ robot vacuum is an excellent machine, but it's not up to the Ecovacs X1 Omni which is our top choice. The X1 is more robust and has a longer battery life. It also has a higher charging speed and is compatible with an X1 base station that can automatically empty itself. It can also detect your schedule and plan autonomous cleaning sessions.

3. Roomba i3 EVO

The Roomba i3 EVO is a great robot vacuum that does an exceptional job on floors that are not clean. The BestReviews Testing Lab put it against the Shark AI Robot, and while both models have similar cleaning capabilities, we found that the i3 EVO is more equipped to handle both low- and high-pile carpeting. The i3 has a larger dirt container, meaning it doesn't have to be empty as often. It also has a Dual Virtual Barrier device that lets you identify areas that the robot should avoid while cleaning, which makes it a great choice for homes with pets.

Like other irobot robots the i3 EVO utilizes a smart map to remember your home's layout and divisions, but it does this without the assistance of a camera like the i8/i8+ and j7/j7+ and s9/s9+ do. Instead the i3 EVO uses floor-tracking sensors to determine the location of rooms and how they're divided. The i3 EVO will display the smart map in the app once it's finished mapping. You can then adjust the room labels and dividers if required.

Based on iRobot OS, the i3 EVO stays one step ahead of everyday dirt. It analyzes your habits of cleaning and offers suggestions, like scheduling cleaning when you're away from your home or suggesting extra clean-ups during peak pollen or pet shedding season. You can also begin cleaning by simply speaking a command using Google Assistant or Alexa.

The i3 EVO does an impressive job at cleaning bare floors and tackling smaller particles like rice and heavier materials like cereal in a single run.
