The controls are placed on the side, not in the middle like other models. It's also a bit shorter than its competitors like the Neato Botvac D7.

The s9+ is 40 times stronger than the previous generation model. It also features a compact brush design that is supposed to help it take on more debris in one stroke. In my tests it took up 95% of Cheerios on carpets and 90% of them on hardwood. However, it did smash a few pieces of hard cereal which sent them skittering around the floor.

The intuitive app makes it easy to use and set up the S9+. You can schedule cleaning and select which rooms to clean, and you can also use voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant. The app lets you check your cleaning status and battery life.

After that it's back to its base, which can double as a charging dock and dirt bin. Its dustbin is easy to clean and replace and it's a fraction of the size of its competitors. You can also purchase another dustbin to keep at the bottom for additional cleaning.

Despite these advantages however, the IQ remains my top robot irobots vacuum cleaner because it has self-emptying bins and a superior navigation system, and a long battery life. Shark's AI ultra is a great option for those looking for an affordable vacuum. It has fewer components that need regular cleaning, has the same battery life and is built better. It costs $50 less than the Q5. However, if you want an automatic bin that can be empty I would recommend the Roborock.

Braava Jet M6

The Braava Jet is iRobot's most advanced mopping robotic. Contrary to most vacuum cleaners the m6 does not require a lot of energy to operate. It uses only enough power to spray water, navigate through your home and keep an internet connection. Even a two-hour mopping session did not exhaust the battery much.

The m6 makes use of the latest vSLAM navigation technology to map your home and guide it in neat rows. It cleans every inch of your floor. It's compact and small and can fit under and around furniture. It has never gotten stuck or snagged inside my home and the batteries aren't running low. You can control the robot via an iRobot App or via voice if you own a Google Assistant or Alexa device.
