The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and do not need a stroller which can also be used as a car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to 'perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 and 6months of colour pack come together to create a chic pushchair with a delicate elegant look. The frame's base weight is less than a kilogram and is so lightweight that you can lift it out of the box using just one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove adaptors or attachments such as the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 using reassuring clicks - as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to remove staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller from 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then select the best single buggy mode for their journey. The wagon can accommodate two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it has a wide storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This may not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have as much flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it's not able to lock tight once folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to take babies from birth to approximately 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot by just only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.

The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. Despite this being quite narrow, the pushchair handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction or swivel. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt slightly rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to fold and fits in the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all kinds of terrain, and it's also a breeze to lift even with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum which can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has many standout features, such as the capacity of the seat to flip between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be set up to accommodate twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be set towards the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge gear tray, bottle holder snack tray, and a change mat. It also has a superior folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can buy your child. It also has great safety features, such as a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap. It also has a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type used on rival models.

The seat is very comfortable and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is less than that of other runners (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin has an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs. It is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and car seats for infants however, you can use them from the first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and is available in multiple languages.
