The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great best budget mopping robot experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best affordable robot mop robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin and also washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum for large house known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when away from home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.

Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of features that you do not often find on robots at this price. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
