It also has excellent obstacle avoidance, an attribute that's missing from the more expensive iRobot Roomba i7+. However the dustbin needs frequent emptying, and isn't as clean as those of other models that self-empty.

The top surface is equipped with an indicator light set which provide an approximate estimate of the remaining battery's life.

Comparing to the iRobot Roomba 694, which is a comparable model, this one clears more debris from bare floors and does a better job on carpets with high-pile or low-pile.
