Three Wheeled Buggies

Three-wheeled buggies are great for strolling around the neighborhood or jogging. Their compact design makes them easy to maneuver, even in tight spots.

Its tyres (which are inflatable, so require occasionally pumping) have suspension built-in which was extremely comfortable for my kids.

You will also want it to be able to recline to allow them to lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies offer a lie-flat option that allows the child to face you, whereas others only permit a parent-facing option.

Buggies with bigger wheels can be quite large, and they may be a challenge to fit into tight spaces. This could be a problem if you use it for jogging or you need to get through narrow doorways while on the move. Luckily, most models have small folding options that let you take off the front wheels to make compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

A three-wheeler can be more comfortable to drive with a child. The way in which they are built means that the front wheels turn at a quick pace and are extremely easy to manoeuvre, making them ideal for difficult terrain like cobbles, parks, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3 wheel pushchair with car seat-wheeler with her toddler and newborn and stated: "The Terrain was a pleasure to maneuver over tough terrain with the swivel rear wheel being especially helpful. I was also impressed with how well it coped with the kerbs, particularly when using the brake operated by hand. I found it to be extremely stable when going downhill or over uneven terrain."

The only drawback to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of the best 3 wheel buggy wheel buggy might make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you should keep in mind if your home area is a city. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeled buggy could be the better choice for you.
