The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest model in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This wet-dry model is equipped with Ecovacs' upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that offers better mapping and obstacles avoidance. It uses dual laser LiDAR, similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan an area that is up to 32 feet by 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, quicker response times, and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also has a rotating mopping mat constructed of chenille. This makes it easier to scrub hard-to-clean areas than traditional mopping. In my tests it was able to clean the X2 Omni washed its pad in just a few seconds and got to work. I noticed that it was more accurate than other models, which seemed to follow a grid around rooms. It was capable of navigating my room's by the corners and edges as well as make an "Zambani pattern" up and down the center of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station on a regular basis to empty the trash bin and clean the mop using hot water before starting another cleaning job.

The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach and remove mop heads depending on your requirements. This is great for most households, but not so for people who have a busy schedule.

The Deebot T10 is a fantastic robot vacuum that delivers impressive results. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the particles we tossed at it our hardwood floors which is an impressive performance. It did a great job on tiles and carpets and removed the majority of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mop has an enormous docking station which offers cool water cleaning for its mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L plastic bag that is easy to replace, and hot air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that permits more frequent rinses and dries between mopping runs.

The Deebot T10 features a wash tray that is built into its base, which is similar to other mopping robots. It uses the wash tray to rinse and dry its mop pads while it is using them. However, it doesn't have an open tray, meaning that dirty water, dust, and other grime gradually build up on the bottom of the tray over time.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While the Anker-owned Eufy is well known in the field of robot vacuums This model is the first venture into the realm of mopping. It is equipped with improved intelligence with multiple map support, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that automatically adjusts for the surface you are cleaning. It's a tempting mid-range vacuum cleaner although it can't quite deliver on its promise of being a one-stop shop for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a regular robotic vacuum cleaner from the top, with its circular shape, sweeping wheels and an elevated space for sensors. On the opposite side you'll find a motorized floorbrush and one side brush that moves dust away from the edges and into the main path of its' mouth.' It's a little smaller than the main brushes on the competing iRobot Roomba S9, which I found to be easier to access under chairs and sofas.

Its mapping system lets you set up no-mop areas and specific cleaning zones. However, it has a tendency to get into things (including its own charging dock) and isn't the best self-emptying robot vacuum for pet hair in climbing over carpets. It was great at collecting pet hair off bare floors. In our tests it picked up 89.5 percent of kitty litter.

Although it's controlled through the app and the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base, which let you select a cleaning mode, and switch the robot off or on. These buttons can be used to set up zones that are not allowed to be visited and to access real-time maps. It's a bit chatty and will let you know what it plans to do next ("start cleaning") or alert you that something is wrong (it does not have enough power to charge, for instance).

This advanced model collects pet hair, kibble and other particles with top-quality efficiency and maneuvers flawlessly around furniture legs. It also has an impressive feature set that includes two cleaning modes as well as a self-emptying dock and a real-time obstacle avoidance system. In our hardwood floor and kibble tests, this robot performed well and was able to take everything from one grain of rice up to many pieces of dog food in just one pass. It did have some issues with rugs but, generally speaking this vacuum cleaner is ideal for rooms with different flooring types as well as a mix of pets.

The A4s Pro is expensive, but it's a great option for those who wish to to leave the house without hands so that they can do other things or take care chores. This budget-friendly option from a well-known upstart brand is the most affordable robot we've tested to date and offers an exceptional value for the money. Its navigation system is basic and uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm that isn't equipped with room mapping capabilities, which makes it less time efficient than the other models on this list. However it's still able to navigate under furniture and into corners and its mopping feature performed well in our testing it picked up pet hair and other debris with ease.

Shark's iQ may not be as well-built however it is superior in removing pet hair from all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as floors that are not covered. It also uses intelligent-pathing navigational software to improve maneuverability. It also allows you to transfer it to a particular room, and its sophisticated suite of automation features includes no-go zones as well as scheduling. It allows you to stop and restart cleaning sessions which is ideal for homes with pets.
