It also comes with a feature that allows you to set boundary markers for it so that it doesn't get lost in rooms or in areas around objects you do not want to touch.

The AI Robot has two downsides: it is less reliable than my favorite robot vacuum (the Roborock Q5 which is a shrewdly reliable model+) and performs slightly worse on high-pile rugs. It's also a bit louder and may have trouble picking up debris that gets caught in cracks between tiles or wooden planks. It does have a lot of the features I want in a robot, including the ability to self-empty and it's a lot less expensive than the Roomba 981 (9/10 WIRED Recommends).
