iRobot's latest robots can map your home and utilize their cameras to identify small obstacles like cords, shoes, and pet debris. The Combo J9+ also automatically fills its own water tank whenever you take it on a mopping trip it is an upgrade over earlier models that required you to manually empty and fill the tanks manually.

The Roomba s9+

If you're looking for a top-of-the-line robot vacuum that does double function as a mop the s9+ is your best choice. Its features are integrated into a stylish new design. It cleans around corners and along edges. It maps your home and self-empties.

The s9+ uses powerful, high-efficiency motors to provide more than 40 times the suction3 of earlier Irobot models. It also detects carpeted surfaces, which triggers Power Boost to deep clean. Its automatic dirt detection is incredibly accurate and can even differentiate a small toy from a piece of dust to prevent it from becoming stuck.

Once the s9+ has become full of trash, it returns to its dock, and then empty itself by sucking the contents into a large bin. This sound effect, which is like the sound of a jet engine taking off, takes only about a minute and can be scheduled through the Irobot app.

A brand new navigational feature called Imprint Smart Mapping, is what really sets this robot apart from its rivals. It has dual multi-surface brushes, which grab dust and debris from carpets and hard floors. A side brush cleans corners and edges. It can adjust automatically to different surfaces and it has cliff sensors to prevent it from falling. It also recognizes dirtier surfaces and cleanse them more thoroughly.

It has a slim profile and can be tucked under the majority of furniture. It is also able to maneuver around corners and edges, where a larger vacuum would be a challenge. The 675 also has a rechargeable battery and is compatible with the iRobot Home app, which lets you schedule and start cleaning sessions. It also can learn about your cleaning habits and make scheduling suggestions based on those preferences. It is compatible with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to start cleaning with just your voice. Preorders for the 675 are available for purchase at around $450. The Roomba j9+

It alters settings like suction power and scrub intensity to give these areas the attention they require.

The Roomba j9+ can also be paired with iRobot's Braava jet m6 to mop after the robot vacuums. It is compatible with Amazon Echo devices and other smart home systems. It can be controlled using voice commands. It comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

It struggles with larger particles, and is more likely to stop cleaning once the dust bin is full. The j9+'s Dirt Detective can also be inconsistent. It will often reduce suction to save power, even when an area requires more attention.

The Braava jet M6

The Braava Jet m6 is iRobot's most advanced mopping robotic, capable of cleaning multiple rooms and larger spaces as a human. It uses Precision Jet Spray to tackle sticky messes, grime and kitchen grease with less effort from you. Its Smart Navigation technology helps it keep out of the way and out of danger while traversing your space. It also has the ability to detect cliffs, which keeps it from falling down stairs or other steep drop-offs.

The m6 is also able to learn the environment around it while mowing, thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping Technology. After cleaning several rooms or one the m6 will generate an image that you can modify within the app. After you have identified the rooms, you can direct the robot to clean the rooms you have identified or the entire floor of your home on the days you choose.

You can control the m6 by using the irobot robot App for Android and iOS or voice commands via your compatible Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device. The app lets you create an agenda for cleaning, "keep out zones" and much more. The m6 can also be tucked into tight corners and under furniture, making it easier to clean your entire space.
