After stories of a Roomba pet smearing poop across dogs became viral, iRobot began offering a Pet Owner Promise for select models. It would replace any vacuum cleaner that sped over solid waste. The j7+ is one of those models and also uses intelligent obstacle avoidance technology.

It can locate your home and then adjust its dual brushes to different types of floors to avoid tangles. It can even self-empty itself!

1. Wyze Cordless Vacuum

The Wyze does a great job of cleaning pet hair from carpeted floors and upholstery. However, it may struggle a bit with larger particles such as oatmeal and sand. These types of items require frequent emptying of the trash bin, which can quickly drain the battery.

The Wyze's medium mode is perfect for floors that are not paved. It easily captures dirt cereal, rice and other grains and pebbles and other smaller debris. It has a difficult time with larger debris such as cereal, but it is able to disperse and pulverize the material to make it easier to remove later.

This vacuum comes with a versatile attachment kit that lets you convert it into a handheld model that lets you reach into tight corners and spaces without bending down. Its specialized floor brush has its own motor, which can provide 9,500 RPM of power plus six bright white lights to illuminate under furniture and other dark areas.

2. Tineco PURE ONE S11

Tineco PURE One S11 is a sophisticated cordless vacuum that removes pet hair effectively and has pet-friendly features. It is able to be easily converted from a lightweight handheld vacuum using the mini power brush to an additional powerful vacuum thanks to the 2-in-1 crevice brush included. It can also be controlled by the user-friendly Tineco application, which gives the ability to track the progress of cleaning as well as offer other useful features.
