Three Wheeled Buggies

Three-wheeled buggies are great for walking around the neighborhood or running. Their compact design makes them easy to maneuver, even in tight places.

Sturdy frame

New figures show that three-wheeled buggies, the symbol of the noughties that were more expensive than common sense, are in steep decline. They have been replaced by four-wheelers that can be more versatile in terrain, while still looking stylish and easy to push.

The general principle is that the larger the wheels are, the easier it'll be for your buggy to deal with rough ground and bumpy pavements. The larger wheels, both front and rear allow you to maneuver and more stable while walking downhill or in difficult terrain.

MFM reviewer Kath tried this buggy on a newborn baby as well as a child who was best lightweight 3 wheel stroller years old and found it very sturdy. It was able to withstand cobbles, grass, and rough pavements as well as dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath said that "it is sturdy to push and is very stable when traversing difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable and require occasional pumping) offer built-in suspension which was extremely comfortable for my children.

Another thing to think about is the size and shape. It is important for the seat to be big enough for your child to feel comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three wheel pushchair-wheel buggies will have a full lie-flat option while others will only allow a parent facing one.

Easy to manoeuvre

A three-wheeled buggy is more comfortable to drive with children. They are designed to ensure that the front wheels rotate at a moment's notice, and are easy to navigate, making them ideal for terrains that are difficult, such as parks, cobblestones, bumpy roads, and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her toddler. she reported: "The Terrain is a joy to maneuver on rough terrain. The swivel wheel front was particularly useful." I was also awed by the way it handled kerbs, especially when using the hand-operated brake. I found it to be extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven ground."

The only downside to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheeler stroller-wheel buggy may make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you should keep in mind when you live in one of the cities. If this is a problem, a 4-wheel buggy might be better for you.
